    The Challenge

    Smartphones are central to modern life, yet most users have no way to understand the real health of their device until something breaks. PhoneVue was designed to change that — giving Android users a clear, accurate picture of their phone's hardware condition and predicting potential failures before they occur. The client needed a technically sophisticated diagnostic engine wrapped in an experience simple enough for non-technical users.

    We engineered the PhoneVue Android app with a guided self-diagnostic flow that tests key hardware components — battery health, touchscreen responsiveness, camera function, speaker and microphone quality, sensors, and connectivity modules. A failure prediction engine analyzes test results and historical patterns to flag early warning signs before hardware actually fails. Results are displayed in clear, jargon-free language so any user understands their device's condition. The app was optimized for performance across a wide range of Android device specifications.
